The blender I use in my Amazon affiliate store.

This delicious tomato sauce can be used for many things, in addition to accompanying the delicious pupusas . I also use it to make pizzas , stewed chicken, to eat with tortilla chips and more.

Instructions

0/6 Instructions
  • Cut the tomatoes into small pieces so that your blender has no trouble blending them.
  • Cut the onion, and the pepper into small pieces.
  • Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend. Stop the blender when you no longer see large pieces. If you blend the sauce a lot, it will be quite liquid.
  • Put a pot over medium heat and pour the contents of the blender into it.
  • When the sauce starts to boil (its color usually changes), let it boil for about 4 more minutes.
  • Add salt to taste when the sauce has boiled for about 4 minutes. Then let it boil for another 5 minutes.

Notes

  • Add a little salt (about a teaspoon), stir in the sauce and taste it. If you think it needs more salt, add a little more. Repeat until you have the desired salt flavor.
  • If you feel that the sauce is too acidic for your taste, add half a tablespoon of sugar, stir it and taste it. Repeat until you have the desired flavor.
